Community Meals
Quarterly we host a meal that is open to the whole community. This is a chance for us to reach out to Des Moines, and to gather round the table with all sorts of folks. Great conversations and lots of fun occur as well as some great eating! Some of the best time is enjoyed by those on the kitchen crew.

If you want to come join us talk to Nora Douglas or e-mail the church. Our next event is a community dinner February 10th from 5-7PM. Come for a simple meal and icecream social.
Here are photos from the Flapjack Feast on November 5th and from Winter Warmth Soup Saturday on January 21st as well as the recipe for those outstanding oatmeal pancakes!
